Show your phone or PC screen — with sound — on your TV or projector, over your home Wi-Fi. Free, no account. Casting needs no internet: it all stays inside your home network. The apps only go online to update themselves. Mostra o ecrã do telemóvel ou do PC — com som — na TV ou no projetor, pela rede Wi-Fi de casa. Grátis, sem conta.   1. On the TV, open the Google Play Store and install the free app Downloader (orange icon, by AFTVnews). Na TV, abre a Google Play Store e instala a app gratuita Downloader (ícone laranja, da AFTVnews).
  2. Open Downloader and type this address with the remote: Abre o Downloader e escreve este endereço com o comando: sangue3.github.io/LanCast-Install/tv
  3. Press Go, then Install. If the TV asks, allow Downloader to install apps. Carrega em Go e depois em Instalar. Se a TV perguntar, deixa o Downloader instalar apps.
  4. Open LanCast from the TV's app list and leave it open. Abre o LanCast na lista de apps da TV e deixa-o aberto.

  1. On the phone, open this page and tap the button below (or scan the code). No telemóvel, abre esta página e toca no botão abaixo (ou lê o código).
  2. Open the downloaded file. If the phone asks, allow your browser to install unknown apps, then tap Install. Abre o ficheiro descarregado. Se o telemóvel perguntar, deixa o browser instalar apps desconhecidas e toca em Instalar.
  3. If a "Play Protect" warning appears, tap More details → Install anyway. It shows up for any app that isn't from the Play Store. Se aparecer um aviso do "Play Protect", toca em Mais detalhes → Instalar mesmo assim. Aparece em qualquer app que não venha da Play Store.

  1. Download and open LanCast-Windows.exe. Descarrega e abre o LanCast-Windows.exe.
  2. If Windows says "Windows protected your PC", click More info → Run anyway. Se o Windows disser "O Windows protegeu o seu PC", clica em Mais informações → Executar mesmo assim.
  3. Answer Yes to "Install LanCast on this PC?". It adds LanCast to the Start menu and the Desktop. Responde Sim a "Instalar o LanCast neste PC?". Fica no Menu Iniciar e no Ambiente de Trabalho.
  4. The first time, click Install FFmpeg in LanCast (a free tool it needs; about a minute). Na primeira vez, clica em Instalar o FFmpeg no LanCast (uma ferramenta gratuita de que precisa; cerca de um minuto).
  5. If Windows asks about network access, click Allow. Se o Windows perguntar sobre acesso à rede, clica em Permitir.

My TV doesn't show up in the listA minha TV não aparece na lista

Make sure LanCast is open on the TV screen (not just installed) and that the TV and your phone/PC are on the same Wi-Fi. You can also type the address shown on the TV screen into "Connect by address". Confirma que o LanCast está aberto no ecrã da TV (não basta estar instalado) e que a TV e o telemóvel/PC estão no mesmo Wi-Fi. Também podes escrever o endereço que aparece na TV em "Ligar por endereço".

The picture stuttersA imagem engasga

Pick 720p in the quality options. 5 GHz Wi-Fi works best; the internet speed doesn't matter, everything stays inside your home network. Escolhe 720p nas opções de qualidade. O Wi-Fi de 5 GHz funciona melhor; a velocidade da internet não conta, tudo fica dentro da rede de casa.

Casting stops when the phone screen turns offA transmissão pára quando o ecrã do telemóvel desliga

Android stops all screen sharing when the phone locks. LanCast keeps the screen on while casting; just don't press the power button. You can turn the phone's brightness all the way down. O Android pára qualquer partilha de ecrã quando o telemóvel bloqueia. O LanCast mantém o ecrã ligado durante a transmissão; só não carregues no botão de ligar. Podes baixar o brilho do telemóvel ao mínimo.

Some apps show a black screenAlgumas apps aparecem pretas

Apps with protected video (Netflix, some banking apps…) block screen sharing on purpose. That's not something LanCast can change. Apps com vídeo protegido (Netflix, algumas apps de bancos…) bloqueiam a partilha do ecrã de propósito. Não é algo que o LanCast possa mudar.

Changing the languageMudar o idioma

LanCast follows your device's language (English or Portuguese). On the phone and PC you can also pick it in the app. The TV app follows the TV's language. O LanCast segue o idioma do aparelho (inglês ou português). No telemóvel e no PC também o podes escolher na app. A app da TV segue o idioma da TV.

Updating or removingAtualizar ou remover

Updates are automatic: whenever the apps have an internet connection, they check for a newer version when opened and install it themselves (never in the middle of a cast). On Android, allow LanCast to install unknown apps the first time it asks, then confirm each update. Versions older than 1.2.0 don't update themselves: download and install again from this page once. Your settings are kept. On Windows, remove LanCast from Settings → Apps → Installed apps. On Android, uninstall it like any app. As atualizações são automáticas: sempre que as apps têm ligação à internet, procuram uma versão mais recente ao abrir e instalam-na sozinhas (nunca a meio de uma transmissão). No Android, deixa o LanCast instalar apps desconhecidas da primeira vez que pedir, e depois confirma cada atualização. As versões anteriores à 1.2.0 não se atualizam sozinhas: descarrega e instala outra vez a partir desta página uma vez. As definições mantêm-se. No Windows, remove o LanCast em Definições → Aplicações → Aplicações instaladas. No Android, desinstala como qualquer app.
